Nowadays, many people regard their pets as their own family members, especially the grandmothers and grandfathers in many nursing homes. A cat nursing facility in Ohio brought surprise visitors to the elderly and elderly people in the nursing home. A group of pets used their cutest looks to heal the elderly in the nursing home.

This heart-warming encounter was a project called "Pet Adoptions for Loving Seniors" (PALS) initiated by the cat shelter. The volunteers took a group of unadopted cats over 7 years old to the shelter to find their grandparents. Volunteer Jordan said (Jordan Umerley), in the past year, the PALS program has been held in many retirement communities. "These elderly people cannot keep animals, so we provide opportunities to hug their fur babies. Interestingly, it is also an opportunity for cats to get socialized."

These elderly people are also very happy. Share the story of getting along with the furry children with your children and grandchildren. The old cat’s activities all day long are eating, sleeping and enjoying being hugged by people. It is a sweet and healing time for the grandfathers and grandmothers! This kind of interaction warms both the elderly and the cats who are usually less exposed to social groups, and warms the hearts of those who watch.
