19-year-old Rees joined Manchester City from Palmeiras in January 2025, when he was recognized as one of the best young defenders in South America. He signed a four-and-a-half-year contract with Blue Moon until the summer of 2029, and he will become a member of Michelle in the new season to continue growing.
Rees has made four appearances for Manchester City, starting in the FA Cup against Leyton Oriental and Plymouth, and making a substitute Guvadi Al in a 2-0 Premier League victory over Leicester City. This summer, he also participated in the Club World Cup with the team and started in the 2-0 victory over Vadard.
