According to reporter Igor Burbas, Chelsea and Donetsk miners are preparing to sue Muderick and the Ukrainian Football Association.

It is reported that Chelsea has completed an internal investigation and concluded that Muderick may have used stimulants during the national team training camp. The club plans to file a lawsuit against Muderick himself, seeking compensation for the record transfer fee of EUR 70 million, and will also sue the Ukrainian Football Association for its possible provision of banned drugs without regulation.

Mudric's old club, Donetsk miners, also closely monitor the matter and are studying whether to sue the Ukrainian Football Association. The miners said that the club failed to receive a prize of up to €30 million due to Muderick's ban.

According to the agreement between the two sides, if Muderick plays on behalf of Chelsea and achieves good results, the miners can earn additional income. With Muderick missing, Donetsk miners missed the transfer bonus that Chelsea could receive for winning the UEFA United and Club World Cup championships.

Since December 2024, Muderick has been suspended by Chelsea for a positive drug test. He has been detected in his body with a banned substance called mirdrehydrazine, a common banned drug.

Mudrik has now hired a team of professional lawyers who have handled similar doping cases for players such as Pogba and Serner, trying to mitigate or revoke the ban for them.
