Spanish winger Susso currently plays in Cadiz. In an interview with Cadiz Radio, he talked about some of the head coaches he met in his career.
Suso said: "I learned the most from Enrique. When I entered the Spanish national team, every call was very pleasant. He taught me a lot. Lopetegui was also a very comprehensive coach, and he focused on every aspect, including the human side, which is very important today."
"In a national team game in Las Palmas, Enrique allowed me to move in a very sideways, but his opponents took different tactics. During the break, he walked up to me. I was very scared and thought he would blame me. He told me that he had made a mistake in the game plan. He thought his opponent would use another tactic and formation, but he admitted that he had made a mistake in his judgment. I was very surprised by his candidness."
