It is winter, and many cats and dogs wandering outside are very pitiful. From time to time, the bodies of stray pets are found on the roadside. Recently, a stray cat broke into the scene of an old man’s 80th birthday. Let’s take a look~
The cold wind in the first month of the north is biting. Although spring has already begun, it is still chilly.
The eighth day of the first lunar month was my grandpa’s eightieth birthday. Everyone decorated the lanterns and celebrated his birthday happily. Inadvertently, Shanshan walked into a kitten. It was skinny, its hair was dull, and it was blind in one eye.

It stood quietly at the door of the hut, squinting its eyes. Although the house is full of delicious food, it just stands at the door, neither barking nor taking a step forward. Its small size looks even smaller in the cold wind. It stared lovingly at everyone who came out, but always stood there, unlike other cats that like to rub at the owner's feet when begging for food.
It must have received a lot of glares before it became so sensible, which makes people feel distressed to see it.
I walked into the house and got some meat for it. It devoured it in three or two bites and finished it. After eating, he continued to raise his head and look at me with that pitiful look. When I saw this, I got some more for it, and it finished them all. But he still squatted there and left without moving.
In the afternoon, it was time for me to go home. When it saw me walking out of the courtyard, it followed me out. I knelt down and petted it. It meowed pitifully at me, as if to say, let me take it home. I couldn't stand its pitiful eyes, so I picked it up and went home.
After returning home and taking good care of it, it gradually gained weight and became much more lively. It often meows and pounces into my arms, asking me to hold it. I would sleep next to my bed at night and listen to its snoring, which would make me feel much more comfortable.
A sensible kitten like it lives on the street. It just wants a bite to eat. Pets are like children, they need to be raised carefully. They are not toys. You can hold them in your arms and play with them when you like them, and throw them away if you don't like them. They are living creatures, and they feel pain and fear.
I hope that everyone can be kind to small animals and that capable friends can help them. I also hope that stray cats and dogs in the world can find a warm home.
