Why do wild cats have no stress response? Maybe these three reasons

Why does a wild cat have no stress response? The reason why wild cats don’t have a stress response is because their living environment in nature is more difficult, and they must learn to regulate their bodies and minds to adapt to changes in their surroundings, rather than to have a stress response. Therefore, they are more adaptable to changes in the environment than family cats.

The reason why cats have stress reactions is that this guy is more curious about things, and is sensitive and timid by nature. As the saying goes, "curiosity kills cats", it makes sense.

1. Don’t let cats be "flowers in greenhouses", and you must let them "see more in the world" from a young age. Rural local cats have rarely seen them have stress reactions because they have been running around outside since childhood. They have seen and listened more often, so they become accustomed to it. However, now many cat owners basically raise cats in their own homes in the community, which is "captive". The cats do not go out and come into contact with few things. Occasionally, something they don't know (such as mice) or hear certain sounds will frighten them, which will lead to stress reactions. Therefore, when dealing with "captive" cats, they should take them out for a walk from a young age, contact with other animals more, and exercise their nature;

2. Change food step by step. Suddenly changing food is also a big challenge for cats. The better way is to change it step by step, mix new and old food for it, and then slowly increase the amount of new food;

3. When the owner moves to change the living environment, try to bring the cat's original supplies, such as cat litter box, bowls for eating and drinking, climbing racks, etc., to take them as much as possible. Who said they are sensitive and timid? The new environment means that the old utensils cannot be seen in the new territory. At this time, the cat will instinctively think that when it comes to other cats' territory, it will feel fear from the heart, thus causing a stress response.
