Feel safe! The Sun: Arsenal will not provide additional security personnel for Simeone

In the Champions League at 3 o'clock on October 22, Atletico Madrid will challenge Arsenal away from home. According to the Sun, Arsenal has decided not to provide additional security measures for Atletico Madrid coach Simeone at the Emirates Stadium during Tuesday's Champions League match, despite being banned by UEFA for violent clashes with fans during an away game against Liverpool in September.

Reports revealed that Arsenal club officials made this decision mainly for two major reasons. First of all, they believe that their fans are unlikely to continue to abuse and provoke Simeone like Liverpool fans. Secondly, from a physical layout point of view, the distance between the away team coaching bench and the bleacher seats at Emirates Stadium is further than that at Anfield, which objectively reduces the opportunities for direct contact between coaches and fans.

In the previous incident at Anfield, Simeone was ridiculed by a few home fans after Van Dijk scored the winning goal. He immediately had a quarrel with the opponent, complained fiercely to the fourth official, and was eventually sent off. UEFA determined that his behavior constituted "unsporting conduct" and imposed a one-game ban, which was completed in last month's game against Eintracht Frankfurt.

Nonetheless, Arsenal also confirmed that regular security personnel will still be deployed during the game to deal with any emergencies.
