Liang Peiyin, partner of Xiangfeng Investment Southeast Asia and India, pointed out that solar energy is the key to energy transformation, and QE innovation is expected to reshape the management and financing methods of global solar energy assets.
Founded in 2019, QE originated from the Singapore Institute of Solar Energy (SERIS), a subsidiary of the National University of Singapore, has developed an electroluminescence detection system combining drones and artificial intelligence to provide non-destructive and efficient on-site inspection services for large-scale photovoltaic projects. The company has completed deployment in Asia, Europe, the Middle East and other places, and completed the world's largest electroluminescence detection last year, covering more than 1 million photovoltaic panels within three weeks.
Xiangfeng, a subsidiary of Vertex Holdings, a wholly owned subsidiary of Temasek, invested in Southeast Asia and India, announced that it would lead the A round of financing for Quantified Energy (QE), a local advanced technology company, to assist the company in expanding photovoltaic detection technology and accelerating its global layout.
QE CEO Dr. Wang Yan said that the new fund will support the second-generation "plug-and-play" system to launch the international market and expand the global user base through the drone payload subscription model.
