Ferdinand: Sancho is a good deal whenever he leaves, he needs a lot of conditions to play well

Manchester United legend Ferdinand posted a comment on his YouTube channel "Rio Ferdinand Presents", talking about Hoylen and Sancho.

Regarding Hoylen, Ferdinand believes that if Amorin can sign a mature center like Yorkress or Osmayen as he wishes, then Hoylen still has his own role. He can play a substitute at a mature No. 9 without taking on this heavy responsibility himself.

But if the club tends to sign young forwards like Ekitic, Hoylen may have to go elsewhere to seek playing time.

Ferdinand said: "If Manchester United go out and sign an experienced No. 9 player, I think Hoylen should stay. If it is not an experienced No. 9 player, he should leave and accumulate experience elsewhere."

When Sancho joined Chelsea on loan with a buyout clause, many people must think that his chapter at Old Trafford is over. But Chelsea eventually paid a penalty of £5 million, and Sancho returned to Manchester United's roster. Sancho is currently attracting the attention of Serie A giants and Fenerbahce.

Manchester United paid a total of about £145 million for signing Sancho and Hoylen, and many Manchester United fans now feel that the money has been wasted.

Ferdinand also expressed his opinion on Sancho's situation, saying: "I think it's a good deal to leave Manchester United and go anywhere. I think he needs a permanent transfer contract. Leaving Manchester United and clarifying his thoughts because he didn't succeed at Manchester United.

"He has to show his performance now. Those data are not good-looking. I had a glimpse of Dortmund during the loan period on loan to Dortmund in 2023/24, and I thought he was back!

"He needs to play in a team that has control over the ball and has running players around him. I think he needs quite a bit of a condition to play well, and in the Premier League, he can't get that."
